If you're struggling, I'm glad you've found the courage to look for support.

I have worked as a therapist for over twenty years, providing counselling to adolescents and adults. My work is emotionally focused, shaped by my clients' unique needs and interests, informed by cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness-based stress reduction and psychoeducation.

Many people seek out counselling to learn to more effectively manage feelings of stress, worry, anxiety or grief. Others come to therapy to discuss family or relational conflicts, career changes, or issues specific to the LGBTQ+ community. I hope to help my clients learn to manage their expectations, identify triggers, cope with uncertainty, cultivate self-compassion, and develop healthier strategies to enhance their overall well-being and self-care.

I am a registered social worker in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers. Part of my practice is focused on adoption, supporting adoptive and birth families.*
