Counselling Support
If you're struggling, I'm glad you've found the courage to start looking for support.
Many of my clients have sought counselling support to manage feelings of stress, worry, anxiety or sadness. Others come to therapy to discuss family or relational conflicts, address feelings of grief and loss, career concerns, or issues specific to LGBTQ+ populations.
Over the course of the pandemic, many individuals have experienced periods of poor mental health. Feelings of sadness, anxiety, or loneliness have been exacerbated by illnesses, remote work and schooling, diminished social opportunities and family stressors. Relationships, schooling and parenting during the pandemic have also presented their own set of unique challenges.
I hope to help clients learn to manage their expectations, identify triggers, cope with uncertainty and develop healthy ways to better improve their self-care. My practice is emotionally focused, rooted in evidence-based cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness-based stress reduction techniques and psycho-education -- approaches shaped by my clients' unique needs and interests.
